In-home measurement, explained

What our optional measurement visit covers, how the refund works, and why it protects your cabinet order from costly errors.

Why we offer in-home measurement

A quarter-inch of error in a kitchen measurement can throw off an entire cabinet run, leave an awkward gap next to an appliance, or force a last-minute filler panel. Our in-home measurement visit exists to eliminate that risk before your order is placed.

What the visit covers

A member of our team visits your home and measures your kitchen or bath in person — wall dimensions, window and door placement, existing plumbing and electrical locations, ceiling height, and any out-of-square walls or corners that a self-measurement might miss.

Those measurements are then used to finalize your ProKitchen 3D design, so the layout you approve matches your actual space down to the fraction of an inch.

It's fully refundable against your order

The in-home measurement visit carries a fee, but it's fully refunded against your cabinet order once you move forward — so homeowners who go on to order pay nothing extra for the accuracy.
